Sweater weather

The weather is changing and because Vizslas only have a thin coat, I decided to get my girl a jacket! She was a little annoyed by it at first but I think she has come to accept and even appreciate the warmth that it provides.

Photo Shoot (take two) - 15 weeks old

I am BEYOND blessed that one of my best friends is an aspiring photographer and has been nice enough to take photos of my sweet girl.  Photographing a puppy is super difficult (mostly because they are constantly running, jumping, wiggling and rarely look at the camera - unless they are charging it).

Katrina was able to capture the true essence of my precious vizsla puppy. Juliet has a lot of personality, but is also very composed and dare I say "regal" at times.

Football season means the end of summer

Play dates, swimming and more! (14 weeks old)

Juliet and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather here in Northern California and hit up our friend to go swimming in his pool.  It was a lot of fun.  Juliet was a bit weary of the water, but was definitely not afraid.  She spent most of the time sitting on the first step of the pool, submerged up to her stomach.  I walked her onto the step, allowed her to get out, then put her back on the step (giving her treats along the way).  I even held her in the shallow end of the pool and allowed her to "doggie paddle" her way to the step.  She did well, splashed a little aggressively, but didn't panic and got the job done.  She proceeded to take a nap on the chair while I continued to hang out in the pool :)   

The picture on the left was taken the first time I met Juliet at the breeders house when she was 4 weeks old.  The middle photo was taken a few days after she came home with me at 8 weeks old, and the final picture was taken at 12 weeks old.  She has changed so much! It makes me sad to think that she is going to be full grown in just a few months.  Her puppy face is the cutest

My friend Yani has a bulldog, beagle mix named Lucas.  They came over to hang out and she even bought Juliet a toy! We have the nicest friends :)

Juliet's play date!

My friend Janelle and her boyfriend Bryan each have a dog (Bo and Jesse).... They were kind enough to invite Juliet and I to their house in Fairfield for a play date. Juliet had so much fun playing with them and both were very sweet and tolerant of her crazy puppy energy.
