My name is Juliet and my favorite thing to do is sleep

This is a compilation of a bunch of pictures (starting at day one until today) of Juliet and all of her sleepy ways.

Tricks, treats, friends and shots

Juliet went to the doctors on August 21 for her second set of shots and to check on a small bump she had on her stomach (see photo below).
Juliet weighed a whopping 15.5 pounds which  is nearly double what she weighed at her 8 week check up.  I can't believe she is growing so fast.

At the vet I have to admit that Juliet was a bit,  energetic.  At our first vet visit she slept the entire time.  During this visit she was up,  looking at all the people and other dogs and making her typical vizsla "sounds". She tried to get the attention of every staff person at the Oakland SPCA!!!! and trust me she did. Multiple people came over just to see a Juliet because "they love vizslas" and Juliet showed them love right back!

So, I found this bump on Juliet a week after I got her.  I thought that she was bitten by something in the backyard (we have a bunch of different bugs out there).  But after almost 2 weeks it hadn't gone away.  I decided to make an appointment to see the vet - Juliet also needed her second round of puppy shots so we were making a trip to the SPCA anyway.
i explained the bump to the vet, she said that she was sure it was nothing but asked if I wanted it aspirated anyway.  I decided that it was worth it. She came back in after looking at the cells under a microscope and that it looks like a cyst (with some white blood cells).  The vet believed that she was probably bit by something and the body sent white blood cells to the area, but then it healed up and some of the cells got stuck under the skin.
I was super relieved that it was nothing serious!
